Project Delivery Manager – Climate Adaptation Platform (m/f/d) - On-Site, Full-Time
We usually respond within a day
Who We Are
Resilens is dedicated to solving one of the urgent challenges of our time: enabling communities and organisations to adapt to a changing climate. Not everything can be prevented - but effective adaptation reduces losses and protects people where it matters most.
Our clients are city leaders and private operators who will use our climate adaptation platform to move from uncertainty to evidence-based action. We’re a data-first company combining domain expertise with modern technology. We turn climate risk into ranked measures and fundable priorities - with clear numbers on risk, cost, and expected impact. We’re looking for hands-on builders who want to join us in making adaptation happen.
What you’ll do
You'll own how we plan, coordinate, and ship work as a project moves from idea to delivery, turning priorities into clear plans, keeping the right people aligned, and making sure nothing falls through the cracks.
One critical part of this role: coordinating a state government partnership as we take one of our products from pilot to production on their public climate platform, working directly with real users like schools, hospitals, and municipalities to shape what we build next.
Project coordination:
Own day-to-day coordination with our state agency partner: scheduling, agendas, follow-through on joint deliverables.
Plan and run workshops with the partner and pilot users (municipalities, hospitals, schools) to gather requirements and validate indicators.
Track work packages, milestones, and deliverables against the project plan; flag risks early.
Keep documentation, decisions, and status reporting clean and current for internal and partner-facing use.
Product delivery:
Translate partner and user feedback from workshops into clear requirements and prioritized backlog items.
Work directly with the technical team to scope and sequence features tied to the integration (data pipelines, API/layer delivery into the partner's platform).
Own a slice of the product roadmap connected to this workstream, balancing partner commitments against broader product priorities.
Help define what should become standard process, documentation, or tooling as the team scales.
What we’re looking for
Must-haves:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Environmental Science, Geography, GIS, Computer Science, Engineering, Business, Project Management, or a related field.
2+ years of experience in project coordination, project management, or product management, ideally in B2B/B2G SaaS, climate tech, govtech, or a similarly consultative environment.
Comfortable facilitating workshops and managing a public-sector or institutional stakeholder relationship.
Strong organizational discipline: you keep plans, timelines, and documentation clean without being asked twice.
Basic fluency in product management fundamentals: turning feedback into requirements, prioritizing, working with engineers.
Background in climate, environmental, or geospatial data contexts.
Fluent German (required for partner coordination) and strong English.
Willingness to be on-site in Wuppertal and help establish our new office.
Nice-to-haves:
Experience with grant-funded or publicly co-funded projects (EU/state funding, reporting requirements).
Previous early-stage startup experience.
Familiarity with agile product workflows.
What We Offer You
We offer the chance to build a category-defining product alongside experienced people who have pioneered this field before.
Direct Impact: Work on the data foundation of a product that changes how cities and operators will handle the climate crisis.
Experienced team: Work alongside founders who each bring over 20 years of experience in climate analytics, scalable software, and company building.
No drama, no egos. We value evidence over impressions and respect over hierarchy.
Room for Growth: We are a small team building an impactful product. This offers you a unique environment to master how complex climate and geospatial data are translated into real-world investable action.
Aligned Autonomy: We agree on the “Why” and the outcomes, then you own the “How.”
Competitive compensation
Inclusive by Design: We believe diverse backgrounds and perspectives strengthen judgment and product quality. We evaluate candidates against consistent outcomes and competencies, and we encourage applications from all genders, backgrounds, and experiences. We look for genuinely kind collaborators who make our team better through empathy, candid feedback, and a shared commitment to excellence.
