Who We Are
Resilens is dedicated to solving one of the urgent challenges of our time: enabling communities and cities to adapt to a changing climate. Not everything can be prevented - but effective adaptation reduces losses and protects people where it matters most.
Our clients are city leaders and private operators who will use our climate adaptation platform to move from uncertainty to evidence-based action. We’re a data-first company combining domain expertise with modern technology. We turn climate risk into ranked measures and fundable priorities - with clear numbers on risk, cost, and expected impact. We’re looking for hands-on builders who want to join us in making adaptation happen.
How we work: We believe regular in-person collaboration matters in an early-stage specialist team. We work in a hybrid setup with regular in-person collaboration. We typically expect 50%+ in-office presence in Potsdam, including 1–2 fixed team days per week. English is our working language. German is a plus.
What you’ll do
As our Founding Sales & Customer Success Manager, you will help build the commercial foundation of Resilens from the ground up. You will work across the full customer journey: from first inbound interest and demo preparation to follow-up, trial coordination, onboarding, early customer success, and commercial process building.
This is a highly cross-functional role for a hands-on builder. You will work closely with the founders and help turn founder-led go-to-market activities into repeatable workflows, clear customer handovers, strong follow-through, and a high-quality customer experience.
We see this as a foundational commercial role with clear potential to grow into a future leadership position, depending on company needs, traction, and individual performance.
Your responsibilities will include:
Preparing and delivering product demos for prospects and early customers
Supporting founders in high-priority commercial conversations and follow-ups
Managing inbound leads, qualifying opportunities, and coordinating next steps
Driving disciplined follow-up after demos, meetings, and early commercial interactions
Coordinating trial setup, activation, and customer engagement during the trial period
Supporting onboarding and helping customers reach first value quickly
Serving as a reliable point of contact for selected prospects and early customers
Capturing customer feedback, objections, and requests and feeding them back internally to optimize the product
Maintaining CRM hygiene, pipeline visibility, and commercial reporting
Creating templates, playbooks, FAQs, and lightweight processes for demo, onboarding, and customer communication
Helping us define what should become standard support material, product improvements, or internal workflows
What success looks like in your first 6–12 months
A reliable lead-to-trial-to-onboarding workflow is running in HubSpot, with clear stages, ownership, and visibility.
Qualified prospects move forward through strong demos, disciplined follow-up, and clear next steps.
Early customers are activated smoothly and reach first value faster through structured onboarding.
Founder-led commercial activities have been turned into repeatable playbooks, templates, FAQs, and reporting.
Core commercial metrics are in place, target benchmarks are defined, and progress is reviewed regularly.

How We Work
We care about climate adaptation and tangible, on-the-ground impact
We don’t wait for perfect plans: We define outcomes and flag risks early
We learn fast and turn that learning into real outputs
We separate our ego from our ideas and update our beliefs when presented with better evidence
What We Offer You
We offer the chance to build a category-defining product alongside experienced people who have pioneered this field before.
Direct Impact: Work on the core of a product that changes how cities and operators will handle the climate crisis.
Experienced team: We are led by a founding team with 20+ years of experience each across climate analytics, scalable software, and building companies.
No drama, no egos. We value evidence over impressions and respect over hierarchy.
Room for Growth: We are a small team building an impactful product. This offers you a unique environment to master how complex climate risks are translated into real-world investable action.
Aligned Autonomy: We agree on the "Why" and the outcomes, then you own the "How."
